Participated by different major entrepreneurs in industrial areas and foreign experts, Fez- Morocco launches Project Mapping for Solar Technology CompaniesMeknes-Tafilalet Boulemane project entitled “Mapping national companies with potential in solar technologies” was launched last week in Fez, Kingdom of Morocco.
This project aims to identify and identify regional companies with the ability and willingness to invest in the field solar energy, says a representative from Moroccan Agency for Solar Energy (MASEN) who is also on the event.
This project, which will last from 3 to 6 months, offers industrial and local opportunity to seize the opportunities of solar energy in addition to their main productions investors, MASEN added.
It has been noted that by this year will be the implementation of new initiatives, including the development of a directory for the solar industry, assisting companies to remove certain constraints and organization practical training and study missions and partnership for the benefit of industry.
The project “Mapping of local businesses with potential for development in solar technologies” is foresees such expansions for the first quarter of 2014 and consists of three phases.
The first phase involves the identification of companies in the sectors of metal and metallurgy industry (IMME), electrical and electronic (EEI) and the plastics processing industry (IP).
The second phase aims to identify companies based on their potential to strengthen local supply in the field of solar technology.
The third phase will focus on the creation of a directory of Moroccan companies can deliver, now or in the future, products or services in the solar industry.
