The Moroccan Government signed an agreement approving the 33 Million Dirhams budgetMorocco Approves 33M Dirhams Budget for Renewable Energy Research allocated for the development of renewable energy research.

The 25 million dirhams is set for the seven innovative projects in the field of photovoltaic and wind, and a block grant 8 MDH two projects desalination of seawater.

The Minister of Energy, Mines, Water and Environment expressed his optimism for project calls as well as molding the strategy in the research aspect of solar energy and new energy.

This strategic priority is major axes to encourage the development of innovative projects which will lead to the creation of new jobs with high added value in even allow Morocco a better technological control of renewable energy systems.

Not less than 38 research institutions and 16 Moroccan and foreign companies can now develop innovative projects that promote the creation of new businesses with high added value, as well as innovative products and processes to promote photovoltaics, wind and solar thermal in Morocco .
