The Kingdom of Morocco had chosen as one of 34 prize winners of the 2013 SEEDMorocco, 2013 SEED Awardee Awards. To support entrepreneurs working, the joint venture founded by the United Nations Environments Programmed (UNEP), International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) helps the industrialist to reach the sustainable development.
The SEED Awards is for all Entrepreneurs in Carrying on Development, it is an annual grant scheme to consider the most innovative, promising and can lead locally start up a social and green entrepreneur. The prize handed to Moroccan enterprises “High Atlas Agriculture & Artisanal” and “Au Grain de Sésame.”
The awards are to compensate the entrepreneurs who aimed to generate the environmental, public and financial benefits at the home level in Morocco with a developing or emerging economy. And it was established to Morocco on the event of Global South-South Development (GSSD) Expo held at UN head office in Nairobi.
