The Moroccan Ministry of Industry pledges to generate 1060 job opportunities next year by means of its partnership with automobile industry companies.
According to a report, the Minister of Industry, Trade and New Technologies has signed an alliance with different Moroccan companies last week in Rabat together with the Hassan II foundation for Economic and Social Development
During the signing ceremony, the Minister says that attracting more investors is the main goal of the Ministry. By broadening the added value, cars manufacturing in Morocco will be more appealing and the offers available are likely to be interesting.
The Minister added that the initiative will boost local integration as well as the incorporation of related job opportunities.
An estimated cost of MAD 360 billion is to be used as fund to the creation of production units. Job profiles available under the agreements are mostly related to the assembling of plastic devices used in cars as well as the cutting of metal items.
Citing the involvement of the Hassan II foundation for Economic and Social Development, the Minister affirms that the collaboration of the foundation and the Ministry will bring in new employment opportunities that do not exist in Morocco.
The Ministry signed several partnerships with different companies namely Lioney Bouskoura with MAD61 billion, which will secure 400 positions as well as Lioney Ain Sebaa with an estimated cost of MAD40 billion that is expected to secure 290 job opportunities.
