The launching of Arabian Hotel Investment Conference (AHIC 2013) reveals key project Major Hotel Projects Reveals In Ahic 2013openings whereas organizers of the event says 150 hotels in GCC and 450 in the pipelines are to open this year.
World leading hotel groups gather together to attend the 9th annual AHIC. Commenced today at Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai, 600 delegates across the world have seen on the opening day of the event.
Major projects announcement are as follows:
Wyndham Dubai Marina – by Wyndham Hotels is to open in next 3 years with 497 guest rooms including 251 luxurious suites, and The First Royal Tulip in the MENA region.
Four Points – by Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide. Hotel’s debut in Saudi Arabia features 376 guest rooms including 138 suites
Grand Hills Hotel & Spa – by Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide featuring iconic Luxury Collection portfolio. Will open in 2015 at Broumana, an upscale mountain resort town near Beirut in Lebanon
DoubleTree Suites – by Hilton Worldwide, a five star property with 350 room hotel and will be located in Bahrain’s capital Manama in the upscale residential area of Juffair. Expected to start its operation in 2015
Other highlights of the event are the conferences, sessions, including key note speeches, presentations, networking roundtables and panel discussions addressing hotel industry issues, such as aviation cooperation, environmental protection, importance of undertaking feasibility studies before committing to hotel developments, and the need for governments to work in partnership with the private sector.
