Two agreements were signed by the Ministry of Infrastructure, Transport and Logistics and the National Agency of Transportation and the Tangier Mediterranean Special Agency for strengthening the collaboration between the port of Marseille and Moroccan ports.

The said ventures link the port of Marseille at the National Ports Agency and Tangier Mediterranean Special Agency.

Furthermore, preparation activities in the areas of maritime safety and the management system of the ships are also included in the provisions of these two agreements. Under these agreements, the partners are mandated to execute several plans, through exchange of information as in the case of technical cooperation to develop sea routes for freight and passengers, and more particularly a RoRo line with Tanger Med.

A  plan to conduct an economic study for the creation of a dedicated reception, processing and transshipment of agricultural products in the logistics platform of Morocco, as well as the widely dedicated training in the areas of maritime safety, management system of the ship (VTS) and port and logistics activities are also included.

In addition, under the deal, the partners agreed to help promote each other in the shipping industry, professionals, energy products, automotive, agricultural, and containerized commodities.
