Rabat: The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has lent Morocco some 383 million Euros as of September 2012 to fund the 18 projects, according to Economy minister of Rabat, Mohammed Boussaid.

Morocco received as of September 2012 some 383 million Euros for the funding of eighteen projects, after a meeting with a delegation of the EBRD made up of 11 directors as part of their consultations in Morocco.

The Minister highlighted the prospects for intensifying the Bank’s collaboration with Morocco given the status of country of operations conferred to Morocco in November 2013, permitting it to benefit from the resources of the Bank.

The Economy minister of Rabat also welcomed the preparation of the country policy between Morocco and the EBRD, which will be part of the EBRD activity in Morocco for the next three years and whose broad lines are in line with the priorities of the Moroccan administration.

According to the Director for France at the EBRD, he noted that the great prospective of Morocco, emphasizing the modification commenced by the Kingdom in the various divisions.
