Good news for pet lovers! The Emirates of Dubai will be opening the luxurious $14.7m pet hotel by March 2014. Located in Al Warsan 3, the new facility is thrice the size of the current domestic animal market in the emirate.
The said pet hotel has an area of 835 meter square, air conditioned and designed to host four-legged guests while their owners are on holiday or away from the country. It has 30 independent rooms, can accommodate 50 dogs at a time.
Dressing and grooming rooms, therapy sessions, laundry services, playgrounds, supervisors and in-house veterinarians are also available to complete the hospitality service.
Amazingly, pet owners can monitor their pets online as the hotel will be on the ground floor, with doors in dog rooms that will allow them to step out into a spacious area.
Aside from the pets’ hotel, the project includes nine main buildings encompassing an administration block in 695m2, a block for auctions in 960m2, a clinic block in 418m2, health quarry in 359m2 and labour accommodation containing 94 rooms for 282 people.
Tourism officers are hoping that this project will boost both trade and tourism in the shade of a new sophisticated bird market in Dubai.
