The Casablanca Urban Agency (AUC) Board of Directors held the endorsement of the Budget and Action Plan proposed for the year 2014 toCasablanca’s Budget and Action Plan 2014-2015, Approved 2015, headed by the Minister Delegate to the Minister of the Interior and in the presence of the Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of General Affairs and Governance.
The Board assessed the accomplishment of the AUC in the year 2013. The completion of the rehabilitation and upgrade of the old medina, made in a timely manner and in compliance with the budget allocated to the project was given attention as well as the reformation of the Lincoln Hotel. It is also discussed that 2013 is the year when the national Program for Social Housing Program and the relocation of the community living in slums.

According to the Board, the AUC began territorial coverage of the different municipalities, urban and rural municipalities of Casablanca Mohammedia region and the province of Nouaceur at the rate of 68% and 31% respectively. It is also stated that in this register, the priority was given to the subject to strong pressures urban areas.

Meanwhile, in the framework of the Regional Program about the relocation of households living in slums in 2013, 21 out of 23 projects were agreed upon. It is about three operations generating 5,815 plots of land.
