UAE is seeking to increase its proficiency, comprehension and knowledge in e-government with the help of BlackBerry, a veteran in safety measures, venture and interface design.
UAE government is concentrating on establishing a Smarter government by giving e-government services reachable through the mobile devices.
BlackBerry Ltd Middle East has came into an agreement with UAE’s Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA), under which the company would assist in mGovernment programs commenced by the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
The UAE mGovernment’s Director General, H.E Hamad Obeid Al Mansoori stated that the Lab is one of its kind regional projects that will help the country to establish leadership in the field of mGovernment. The executive added that BlackBerry is a valued partner, as well as, has immense expertise in the enterprise mobility, security and developing secure applications to take the project forward.
BlackBerry stated that the enhancement lab within the TRA will be a restricted lab in the Arab country, which will be concerned with authenticating the safety measures and eminence of the mGovernment mobile apps.
BlackBerry noted that under the conformity it will proffer TRA with knowledge, industry knowledge and the best practices prevailing in the society. Blackberry, as well, stated that the knowledge of the corporation through deep heritage in security, enterprise mobility, development, and interface design through the experience in 165 countries, will also be shared under the conformity.
