The Airport Show is a vital link to the airport industry in the MENA and Indian Subcontinent region serves is an ideal B2B platform for companies to present airport and aviation-related products and services.

Also the Chairman of Dubai Airports and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline, HH Sheikh Ahmed sends a message that infrastructure investment in Dubai aviation will carry on.

He also said that Dubai International Airport will still carry out 70million passengers for 2014 even though two runways of the facility are currently closed.

During the event, Airports Council International has reported that the Middle East leads the passenger growth scale tracing an 8.6% boost in passenger traffic for the first three months of 2014.

Meanwhile, Dubai was ranked as the third-busiest airport for the first quarter of the year with recorded growth of 11.4% yearly.

Alongside of the Dubai Airport Show 2014 is the exhibition hall of Saeed Traffic Systems which displays sets of advanced technologies including the latest administrative processing and database systems.

The Airport Show highlighted six country pavilions, including the first time joint Canada-US pavilion and other companies that represent 39 countries. First timer countries Estonia, India, Libya, Luxembourg, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Sudan and Thailand have joined to exhibit on the event.
