The exotic pineapple and honeycomb designed Al Bahr Towers in Abu Dhabi won as BestAbu Dhabi’s Al Bahr Towers Bagged ME’s Best Overall Project Award Overall Project in the Middle East.

An Aedis-designed twin tower was previously hailed by German skyscraper for providing “a dynamic, translucent facade that runs off power generated by photovoltaic panels and which reacts to sunlight.”

Already winning Commercial Project of the Year for the same project, the award was presented to Aedas by Dani Bterrani, CEO of 3dr Models. The award received by the managing director of Aedis Middle East.

The method of integration of elements of the traditional Islamic design into the overall structure, particularly admiring the obscure frontage of the towers amazed the judges.
