Government-owned Oil and Gas Company ADNOC recently executed salary increases to its thousands of convenience stores and petrol pumpAbu Dhabi Oil and Gas Giant Implements Wage Hike on Station Staffs Nationwide staffs nationwide from 600 to 1,000 dirhams.

The wage hike was received by both workers of ADNOC distribution and Emarat. Emirates General Petroleum Corporation (Emarat) was earlier procured by Abu Dhabi giant ADNOC.

According to the different interviews published by locally based news website, employees expressed their satisfaction for a continuous salary increases they received from the fuel distribution company.

A lot of them are anticipating that more staffs will join them soon because of the big salary difference they are receiving from before.

Quoting from the news website, an ADNOC official said, “At ADNOC Distribution, we recognize the importance of helping employees to maintain a good quality of life. It boosts their morale, increases overall productivity and makes for happier employees”.

It has been noted that in September 2008, the oil and gas company implemented a 20% salary increase to meet the inflation situation on that year.

ADNOC reveals some of its development to a better service to the public such as the presence of women cashiers and supervisors on its fuel stations, especially in the Northern Emirates.
