Jermaine Jackson, the brother of the late international idol singer Michael Jackson, said Abu Dhabi Could Be Home To Michael Jackson Family Hotelthat they are planning to build Jackson Family’s five-star hotel- resort and eyeing Yas Island in UAE’s capital city as the prime location.
“Talks are going on and it is progressing well. A good area we found is near Ferrari World, so we are looking at that,” Jermaine Jackson was quoted on a report.
The world’s first Jackson family-themed hotel and resort will showcase the Jackson family’s singing career. It will be named Jermajesty following the name of Jermaine’s 12 year- old son.
Jermaine and the Jackson family have long standing connections to the region, with Jermaine converting to Islam in 1989, Michael living in the region for a short spell and the Jackson brothers staging a show on Yas Island on November 2012.
UAE investors are in talks to build this first of its kind in the world resort.
On the report, he added that the family is also looking China as the possible home for a second property.
