A separate immigration, baggage handling facilities, police services and a dedicated drop off area with a new constructed road to service it will serve travelers who would wanted to have bigwig experience on the new VIP terminal at the Abu Dhabi airport.
Set to open by the end of this year, the 924 square meter facility is part of the Abu Dhabi Airports Company’s multibillion-dollar Capacity Enhancement Program (CEP) to expand the terminal’s capacity to 17 million passengers per annum by 2017. It also aims to ensure speedy arrival and departure procedures for travelers.
Abu Dhabi Airport reaches 7.9 million passengers for the 1st 6 months of 2013 which is a 12.65 growth from last year’s same period.
The project includes 2nd runway and 3rd terminal which have been already constructed.
Escorted by a special services National Aviation Services (NAS) agent, a traveler will be welcomed in the new terminal. NAS will assist the guest for ticket and baggage check-in and other immigration procedures. A limousine service will drive the guest to and from the aircraft as part of the VIP service.
VIPs will also be able to enjoy a range of services and facilities in the private terminal including free food and drinks, entertainment, floral services and baggage delivery to homes and hotels.
