The eleventh edition of the Tourism Conference will be held indeed September 29, 2014 in Rabat. The site chosen for the organization of this event is presently the National Theatre Mohammed V.

The tender for the organization and implementation of these Conferences has just been commenced. The bid opening is set to 25 August. Formerly scheduled for December 2012, this eleventh edition has been postponed to 2013 and scheduled for 2014 under an assortment of pretexts while the event is enthusiastically awaited by professionals to have greater visibility on the declination of the Vision 2020 by the current government.

The last had been organized in 2010 to take stock of the past decade and present the new tourism development plan which aims to double the size of the sector and position Morocco among the twenty largest destinations Global 2020. The goal also is to provide policies for discussion and debate to institutional and professionals around tourist territorial strategies. The Department supplies for the participation of approximately 1,000 people at the occasion as well as 200 foreign guests. It should be noted that this precise eleventh edition of Focus on the tourism website will be developed between late August and early September.
